Accidental Genius: The History of Happy Accidents

Accidental Genius is a celebration of happy accidents that helped shape our world.. It explores the moments when error outperformed intent.

Consider the scientist who left a petri dish uncovered, only to watch a stray mold spore change modern medicine forever. Consider the engineer who was trying to invent a super-strong aerospace adhesive, only to create a weak, sticky goo that eventually revolutionized how the world leaves reminders for itself. Think of the pastry chef who ran out of chocolate chunks, expecting them to melt into a batter, and accidentally created a global culinary icon instead.

In every one of these stories, failure was not a dead end; it was an open door. These milestones remind us that human ingenuity is not just about executing a plan—it is about recognizing opportunity when things go completely wrong.
